Job Placement

For select clients, we conduct a much more detailed Zoom meeting designed to gather detailed personal, educational, and professional background information from job seekers. It asks about current employment status, work schedule, bilingual abilities, education level, certifications, location preferences, willingness to relocate, commuting range, and transportation reliability. The form also explores personal attributes, including strengths, weaknesses, barriers to employment, and passions or activities that deeply engage the individual. Additionally, it collects information about preferred types of work, desired salary expectations (both personal budget needs and perceived market value), and top marketable skills relevant to career goals.

After collecting this information from a client, we leverage our 3,000+ person contact network to connect the candidate with specific job opportunities that fit with both their capabilities and career goals. We only get paid after the client is offered and accepts a new job, which gives us a strong motivation to connect clients with opportunities they are both well suited for and will enjoy.

From 2021-2023, we leveraged a $60k gift from E-Hub Board President Dr. Jeremy Woods to assist nearly 50 clients secure over 40 part-time jobs, earning over $400k. From 2024-2025, leveraging a $90k grant budget generously provided by the City of Bakersfield, we provided expanded resume coaching & job search assistance for 200 clients, achieving 16 full-time job placements, 26 part-time job placements, and $1.17m total client earnings.

Starting in 2026, we are launching a fully professional version of our services available directly to anyone who wants to turn their academic hard work into a profitable and fulfilling career!
